| Really missing home this week!! I miss driving down the road with
no cars in sight... I miss sitting in my parents living room talking
about everything and nothing... I miss Jayden's face... I miss playing
Canasta with my wonderful friend Ann and laughing with her when we get
annoyed that it is really not the best game to play with only two
people. I miss going to grab something at the grocery store
and returning home in ten minutes. I miss the trees... the
green... the rivers... I miss the smell of clean air... I miss
the safety of NTC... I miss being able to make a quick goodbye... I
miss the Dave Barnum's goofiness... and croquet with the Laramay
boys... and I miss getting lost in God's presence during worship on
Thursday nights. I miss home!!

| Hey peoples!! I was just talking to my dear friend Ann and she
said I should be posting a lot more!! But I always think that it
must be boring for you all because you havent' been here and don't know
the people.
But.... anyways!!!
So, I spent Easter vacation at the Pastor's house!! We went to
the movies, practice guitar (I am starting to learn), practice singing
worship music in Portuguese, cleaned at church. We are now in our
new location and there is much work to be done there. I spent
five hours cleaning plastic chairs. Fun!
Sunday, I got to practice with the worship team!!! We always have
practice at 3:00 every Sunday because our meeting is at 6:00 at
night.
So, it was my first time practicing with them up front!! Was
cool! They want me to be a part of the worship team
eventually...... Right now I am taking a foundations course during that
time so usually I can't practice with them. Yeah, I know what you
are thinking.... "You are taking a foundations course all in
Portuguese?" Yup, and I don't understand a lot of the language
part but it is very similiar to the one from New Testament so....it
might even be the same one because it says something about Frank
Damazio on the back..
I have to take this course in order to be given any more responsibility in the church.
Switching gears...
Last night we had our annual Science Fair here at PACA. It went
really well!!! Always a lot of work but it went really
smoothly. My kids did a great job. Our experiments were a
cloud in a bottle, jumping raisins, and why does an orange float with
the peel but fall without the peel. We had fun!
Today is a holiday!!! The Day of Teeth!! Yeah, it is a national
Brazilian holiday!! I am staying home this weekend to
relax.
Saturday night I will be going to church for the Dedication of our new
building. Then Sunday morning we have some prophetic meetings and
then our usual Sunday service at night.
I can't believe it is less then two month till I will arrive in Massena with my friends!! Wowsers!!!!
Tchau for now!!! :)

| Well, as you may have heard... I was not able to buy the car.... while
I was investigating for an insurance company; the car was sold!
But!!!! I know that God will provide a car... I just need to be
patient. People keep telling me that there is no way I can find a
car with air conditioning with the amount of money I have but I say....
the Bible says, "God owns the cattle on a thousand hills."
So.............. He certainly can find me a car with air
conditioning with the amount of money I have! Please pray that He
will help me find one soon.
My church has moved locations and we are now ten minutes further then
we used to be. We are excited about our new place because it is
all ours... we are renting but it is totally ours. The last place
we rented, we only had on Sundays and a few Saturdays. So this
new move is very exciting for us! Tchau for now!

| Hello Massena!!! I love you guys!! By now you have heard
that the boys got their visas!!! We were ecstatic, to say the
least!!! I was dancing around my classroom with my students who
have met the boys before and love them also!!! The boys are still
in shock that God has opened this door and that he wants to bless
them. It is so exciting! Also, I have some new
news!!! Today, God brought me a car!!!! Yeah, for just the amount
of money that I had!!!! It is another miracle!!! I can't
believe God.... He has been amazing to me!!!!! So, the car has
air conditioning, power steering, four doors, and darkened windows
which really is a necessity in Brazil for every female driver. It
is such a cute car too!!! The day after my birthday... Can you
believe it!!! So, I begin the process of purchasing it
tomorrow!!!! The husband of the Brazilian Director here at PACA
found it for me and he is helping me through the process. What a
blessing!!!! NTC!!! It was through your faithfullness to
the Lord... your generousity that has brought this blessing into my
life!!!! I cannot properly express my gratitude!!!!
Other notes....
Today, my students gave me a surprise birthday party!!! I had NO
idea!!! They are so wonderful!!! On friday, my whole class
from last year came to my classroom and sang Happy Birthday to me... I
was so shocked and touched. They remembered!!!
God, is really doing great things...
Something to pray about.... At the end of May my class is giving a
presentation in front of the entire elementary. The assembly can
have any focus or theme that I want.... Please pray for discernment!!!
It want to do something that God wants... I feel that he leading me
towards one particuar focus but I am uncertain as to how to bring it
about.... so please pray for clear direction and ideas!!!!
Thankyou, church!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

| It has been too long!!! So much has been going on and I find it
difficult to capture it in words. Well, as many of you know the
boy's visa's were denied which was a huge shock for us because we never
even considered being rejected. But God has opened up some doors
for us...some people who can help us so we are encouraged. We
will see what God will do. Please pray. The boys were quite
upset!
A couple weeks ago I went to a huge camp for young adults in another
city called Londrina. I left on Friday and came back
Wednesday morning. All Portuguese.... all Brazilian. There
were 466 young adults there and guess what?!! I was the only
American. Nossa! I was definetely stretched. It was
Junior, Daniel, me and Mariana a high school girl from PACA who has
been going to my church. The most wonderful thing about this
retreat was that God majorly moved in Mariana's life while we were
there. She is like a transformed girl!! It is absolutely
amazing.
Junior and Daniel came and spent a few days with me here at PACA and it
was so wonderful!! The three of us led worship for teacher's
devotions and then after that we led worship for my students and
another class. What amazing boys they are..... I am so proud to
be apart of their family. The boys watched me teach for day and
got to know my students!! Of course my students loved them
immedietely!! Oh, I just can't wait for you all to know
them!! Well.... like I said .... it is impossible to capture all
that has happend this semester and all that God has done.
What I can tell you is that God has been using me a lot more this
semester and it has been very exciting!! I love you all..... Be
blessed!! I hear there is exciting things happening in
Massena!!! I can't wait to come and see you all and hear about
everything!
